Well, 2018 has been a busy year.
We have published hundreds of posts in the past twelve months, though the year was capped off by tumblr’s controversial decision to ban adult content. This has resulted in countless posts being flagged and hidden on the Tokyo Kinky tumblr page, which itself is now caught by a “safe mode” filter and (we think) no longer visible unless you have a tumblr account. At the moment, it seems, the non-nude images are still available, but for how long? The march of the morality police continues its relentless invasion into the Interwebs!
Christmas in Japan primarily falls on Christmas Eve, which this year was a public holiday. It is most famously a romantic occasion, somewhat strangely, for couples to celebrate with KFC, strawberry cake, and sex. In the end, none of these three items were on our menu on December 24th, but perhaps at least one of them will appear over the Yuletide season. Let’s ask Santa nicely and see what he says.
