The completionist side to our personality just wants to post this, even though it’s not new.
What with all the fuss earlier this year of the porn debut of Momona Kito as Yua Mikami, we want to continue our exploration of this theme: the afterlife of Japan’s “respectable” idols.
Remember AKB48’s Rumi Yonezawa?
Well, since her departure from the group in 2012, it seems her career hit hard times. So many idols are processed through the well-grease machinery of the industry that there will inevitably be casualties that fall by the wayside.
And given the open secret that idols (Gravure, music, otaku) have to do makura-eigyo (i.e., have sex with people to get ahead), they end their idol careers at least trained for something else.
And so an increasing number go into porn and no doubt others change their names and become hostesses and call girls.
Rumi Yonezawa went into porn with the Muteki label (who specialize in “catching” these ex-idols) and also did this very nice full-front (“hair nude”) shoot for the occasion. She took the new stage name of Rika Shirota.
Her first and so far only AV release was in December 2014.
