In 2013 gravure model Yukie Kawamura starred in the TV adaptation of manga “Yamada-kun and the Seven Witches”.
Kawamura, despite being 27, played Rika Saionji, the seventh “witch” and a high school student. But not just any high school student. Rika Saionji is a “no-pan” (no panties) schoolgirl!
Well, this is Fuji TV so there wasn’t any actual nudity. However, Yukie revealed some tantilising details about her own commando experiences.
She says she often just lounges around completely naked when staying at hotels for work. And when she is doing a shoot she will often head to the venue without any panties or bra on so that she doesn’t leave any marks on her skin before she gets into the bikini.
“Yamada-kun…” featured lots of “kiss scenes” — quite risque for Japanese mainstream television. While we don’t like the idea of other guys locking lips with Yukie, it’s still nice to see her on our screens in a romantic embrace.
“Yamada-kun and the Seven Witches” also starred the rather lovely Mariya Nishiuchi. Let’s hope they bring back for a second series this year!
