It’s a dangerous thing to make your gravure debut in this day and age, when netizens have so many tools and resources at their disposal to do research on your background.
And so when the comely Rio Niita’s (新田りお) gravure debut was announced with some fanfare, including an image video DVD release before she had even appeared in the usual gravure magazines, people got interested.
Who is she? Where did she suddenly spring from?
And the rumors are that the 19-year-old model already has a secret past career in porn.
Like most such “image videos,” her new DVD (out January 25) features the idol in various states of undress, walking around or looking alluringly into the camera. But it’s not porn.
For that, you have to look to the porn she reportedly made as an uncredited “amateur performer.” The screen grabs are, as always, a bit grainy and it’s hard to say for sure, but the similarities between the two women are pretty apparent. In additional to schoolgirl cosplay, she is seen having sex with a man who is wearing a Mexican wrestler mask. (We think there are actually two different AVs here, but can’t seem to identify the release codes yet.)

These allegations may well kill Rio Niita’s release — or boost it significantly! At the very least, the online rumors have rescued clips of a particular AV from obscurity.
