The model Minami Tanaka continues her ascent.
After a bestselling photo book, the former TV announcer has turned her jukujo charms to lingerie. She already set a precedent for how good she can make lingerie look with her 2017 Anan magazine shoot, which helped launch her career on this current path.
The 34-year-old model (and alumnus of the prestigious Aoyama Gakuin University) is the new face of top lingerie brand Peach John, a role previously filled by the likes of Miyuki Watanabe, Saeko, Elaiza Ikeda, and Haruna Kojima.

Usually these models are younger, so it’s an interesting step that Peach John has chosen a celebrity who is technically in jukujo territory now. It also adopted a similar approach recently with its lavish Anne Nakamura shoots, though Nakamura is a sporty and alluring city-girl type to Tanaka’s girl-next-door, cutsie persona.
